Program Details

The mission of the Saguaro Teacher Training program is to offer accessible Waldorf teaching preparation that is both affordable and effective, with a foundation in Anthroposophy and Rudolf Steiner’s educational insights. Our program prioritizes hands-on, experiential learning for teachers.

Time Commitment: Three Years

• Summer Program: week 1: June 22-25 & week 2: June 29 - July 2, 2026 (in Phoenix, AZ)

• Midyear Program:

  • Two weekend workshops (All cohorts during MLK weekend)

  • Four Saturday Zoom sessions (cohort 1)

  • Mentoring & Observation in the Field (cohort 2)

Program Elements:

• Year 1: Foundations in Anthroposophy and Waldorf Education

• Year 2: Mentoring and observation for grades 1–8 teaching

• Year 3: Deepening teaching practice
